2008.03.19 | Back in Los Angeles:
Actually we have been back for a few weeks now but you know how it is and I'm already on a new project at Imageworks called G-Force. Some Disney family movie scheduled for release in 2009. It's about a specially trained squad of guinea pigs that take on an evil billionaire who wants to take over the world. Sounds kinda silly doesn't it? But it's kinda cute, reminds me a lot of Disney's Chip N Dale. It's live-action so that's a nice change after all the full CG movies.

2007.10.10 | Beowulf is Done!:
We just finished the last few shots this morning. Finally! I’m happy to be done, it was a monstrous amount of work and over all it turned out pretty good. I hope you enjoy it when you see it on November 16th. Also the official website has been updated: http://www.beowulfmovie.com/. And now it’s time for a long vacation…

2006.05.17 | Monster House is done!:
After 10 months of hard work Monster House is done and the renderfarm, aka 'the cue', is still smoking. It was a fun show to work on, it's actually kind of sad that it came to an end. We had a great team of artists busting though all the shots in record time. As soon as the shots where ready for lighting they where lit and comped together faster then they could prepare new ones. What a ride! Of course there also is a new trailer, if you haven't seen it yet, check it out at www.apple.com and make sure to mark July 21th in you calender to go see the movie in a theater near you! But enough about Monster House, there is already new work lined up. On the next show, Beowulf another all CG feature film by Robert Zemeckis, I'll be leading one of the Lighting/Compositing TD Teams into battle. It's a big show and it will keep me busy until the end of 2007. There is lots of work to be done and I'm really excited to start on it. But first it's time for some vacation so stay tuned and don't forget, your family is more important then your job!

2005.10.16 | Long time no news:
Time to give you an update on what’s going on in my world. Well what’s going on with Tenebrae2, pretty much the same, Charles and I are super busy with jobs and it may take a while until we have some more time to work on it again, but it’s not dead just on hold. Beside that I also quit my job at Blur Studio three months ago and now work at Sony Imageworks as a Technical Director on Monster House doing lighting and compositing. It’s an all CG feature film produced by Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis and is scheduled to be release July 2006. Also James Cameron’s Aliens of the Deep was release in IMAX theaters this August. I worked on the four final shots which show an underwater alien city on the moon europa. I did all the environment modeling, texturing, lighting and compositing as well as some particle effects, it was for sure one of the most enjoyable projects that I worked on last year. So that’s it for now stay tuned.

2003.07.13 | False Tenebrae2 info on the net:
There seems to be some wrong info floating around on the net about Tenebrae2 been released shortly, that’s just bollocks. Tenebrae2 is far from been released and it will take a few months before we can even hand out a public beta. If you wanna check on the latest about Tenebrae2, your source should be www.tenebrae2.com which is not 100% finished yet but will be in a few weeks.

In the Tenebrae section are two new screenshots. You can also have a look at a few more on http://tenebrae.sourceforge.net in original resolution. They show the TB-Base map for Tenebrae2 that I'm working on.

2002.12.08 | Tenebrae 1.03 and TestMap R1.5 released:
As always you can get the latest Tenebrae 1.03 on http://tenebrae.sourceforge.net/. For the new version of the TestMap check my Tenebrae section. You can also still get R1 there, if you want to have a look to compare it with the new one. Please make sure that you remove all old stuff from R1 before using R1.5. Same as last time for any questions use the Tenebrae forums on the offical site. Hope you like what you see.

2002.12.07 | Work... work and more work:
Just been very busy with work for Blur Studio the last two months lots of cool stuff and a more to come. On a side note Tenebrae 1.03 is sharpening up and should be released this weekend. Not so sure I will be able to release also a new version of the TestMap have to see if I can find a few hours to fix it up for a release, it has changed quite a bit.

2002.10.02 | TestMap R2 screenshots:
In the Maps/Levels section. I started painting the diffuse maps for the textures and worked some more on the brush structure as well as added more areas. The screenshots also show some of the new features that will be in the next release of Tenebrae like skyboxes and global fog among other things... ignore the terrain ;)

2002.09.25 | Tenebrae 1.02 and TestMap R1 released:
Get Tenebrae 1.02 on http://tenebrae.sourceforge.net/ and download the TestMap in the Maps/Levels section. A few IMPORTANT things to note; The TestMap only works with the full retail version of Quake, not to Shareware version!! Also you need to install the texture pack that you can download from the Tenebrae website, other wise you have to rename the pak2.pak into pak1.pak so Quake will load it correctly. For any questions ask in the Tenebrae forum. Enjoy!

2002.09.24 | Tenebrae new screenshots:
I updated the Maps/Levels section with a few new screenshots of the TestMap. They show the release version you peeps gonna get with the new tenebrae soon, while I continue working on a newer one. The textures are still missing the final diffusemaps but other then that they turned out to work quite well.

2002.09.17 | Tenebrae E1M1:
There are a few screenshots of the latest version of Tenebrae in the Maps/Levels section showing E1M1 with some new textures. I downloaded the texture pack from Doom2Alive, made bump and glossmaps for each texture in 3ds max to let them take advantage of Tenebrae's features.

2002.09.07 | Tenebrae:
I spend the last two weeks working on a test map for Charles Hollemeersch's Quake engine modification Tenebrae. It's a revamped version of the old Quake OpenGL engine that uses almost all the same tech like ID's new Doom, stencil shadows, bumpmapping, reflections and more. I have put up links in the GameTools page where you can find all the tools you need to edit for Tenebrae. There are also 12 screenshots of the TestMap in the Maps/Levels section. These a screenshots of the upcoming new version which should be released soon together with the TestMap to show of what Tenebrae can do at it's current state. The TestMap will evolve during Tenebrae's development as well.

2002.08.04 | Guess what, finished more work:
Finished another environment for the Blood Rayne outro sequences for Blur Studio. Other then that life goes smooth and work keeps me busy. I see to get some renders together that show the environment I did for the Blood Rayne teaser, just need to find a free minute to do it.

Just finished another job for Blur Studio. It's a environment for a upcoming TV commercial. If possible I will put up some frames into the at work section later.
